Color Me Mine is a paint-your-own pottery studio that offers a unique and creative experience for all ages. Come and select one of 400 different ceramic items! Design and paint ceramics however you like, then leave it for our professional staff to glaze and fire. CMM is a fun activity for all ages.

Not an artist? No problem! You don’t have to be an artist to paint! Our friendly staff and our supplies make it easy for everyone to create masterpieces they will be proud of.
There is a studio fee of $10 for kids (12 and under) and $12 for adults (13+) per painter, which covers the cost of paint, any supplies used, and our processing of the ceramics. This is in addition to the cost of the ceramic you choose to paint. Our ceramics start at $28.

The time required to complete a project varies depending on the size and complexity of the piece. On average, painting a pottery piece takes around 1.5-2 hours. We offer 2 hour painting sessions.
Once you’re done painting, leave your masterpiece with our staff. We’ll glaze and fire the pottery in our kiln. Your finished artwork will be ready for pick-up in about a week.
Although we do take walk-ins, we do recommend making a reservation online to guarantee space for you and your party. Painting sessions are 2 hours and can be made over the phone at (714)671-2808 with a staff member or HERE.
Color Me Mine Brea allows beer and wine. We do not allow any hard alcohol.
We will hold your masterpieces in our studio for 4 weeks after your original visit. Any unclaimed items will be donated. Color Me Mine Brea is not responsible for items or purchases that are not collected within the 4 week timeframe.
Yes! Our studio would happily wrap up a piece of your choice with some selected paints and brushes for $12 + the cost of the ceramic. You must use the provided paints if you wish to bring it back for firing. We use underglazes as paints as they are specifically made for creating colorful ceramics. Any paint other than the CMM Brea paint provided used on the piece will result in being unable to fire in the kiln.
All of our paints are non-toxic and water-based. When your painted piece is glazed & fired, it becomes food-safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
Toddlers have fun making their own masterpieces with plenty of supervision. We offer a discount on Wednesday for kids under 12 years old which is $5 kids studio fees all day!
Yes! We will help you stamp your little ones’ hands/feet onto your favorite piece to create a beautiful memory that will last forever.

Only service dogs are allowed inside the studio, however all dogs are welcome on our outside patio. We have water bowls to pamper them during their visit (upon request). However, we kindly request that dog owners take full responsibility for their pets’ conduct and any potential damages that may occur. Our priority is to ensure a pleasant experience for all our customers, both two-legged and four-legged alike so customers with dogs can only be seated outside. So, if you decide to bring your dog along, we trust that you’ll keep an eye on their behavior and be considerate of others in the store. Thank you for your understanding!

We are open Sunday – Thursday from 10 am – 9 pm. Friday and Saturday from 10 am – 10pm. We recommend you come in at least 2 hours before closing to ensure enough time to finish your piece.
Everyone is welcome at our pottery painting studio. There is no age limit.
No, we don’t accept any pottery that is NOT purchased from Color Me Mine Brea or Tustin. If you purchased from OTHER Color Me Mine locations, please bring in the receipt for proof of purchase. We will charge a studio fee plus a firing fee per piece of pottery based on our discretion.
We accept cash and all major credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not accept checks.
